Hello welcome back to my blog.
In science we have been doing many little experiments here is some of them and a poster about solar power.
Solar heat.
We created a mini oven by taking cardboard and covering one side of our chose with tinfoil which would bonce the heat onto chocolate cookies with marshmallows on top.
Testing for gases.
We tested for 2 gasses hydrogen and oxygen. We tested for hydrogen by putting a piece of metal into a tube then put in some acid then put another tube on top of it so we could collect the gas then put in a wooden stick which was on fire. The way we did the oxygen was by putting in some acid a stick was lit on fire again then we blew it out and put it in the tube it lit back on fire.
And this week made mini windmills to represent solar power.
