Kintsugi.

Hello welcome back to my blog.

Today we are learning more about our mental health today the exsample of this is Kintsugi. Kinstugi is the practice where when something breaks you mix gold into clear glue to show it is broken and it is seen as beutifal. This practice is from japan wich started in the fifteenth centrury. The word Kintsugi is made from two other japanese words kin meaning gold and tsugi meaning fixing.

The work we had to do was showing that anything can be fixed from mental to physical here is my work.

  • Using colourful patches to mend your jeans

  • Fixing a friendship by apologising (and really meaning it)

  • Yourself--think of all the times you’ve fallen over or failed a test. These aren’t anything to be embarrassed about! They help you learn and have made you who you are

  1. Kia Ora Isabella,
You've written a good description of the Japanese tradition of kintsugi, the artful mending of broken pots and vases using a gold-inflected lacquer. Ka pai! You connect this idea with mending relationships between people? What qualities do repairers have, in your opinion (like kindness)?
