Daylight saving.

Hello welcome back to my blog.

Today in class we are learning a bit about daylight savings. I myself don't really know about daylight saving because I don't notice the difference. I still go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time. Anyway we had some questions that we had to answer so here is my work.

  1. When does Daylight Saving happen each year in New Zealand?

The last Sunday in September

  1. What year did Daylight Saving start in New Zealand?

1927

  1. Why was Daylight Saving started?

Daylight saving started so that in summer or other seasons the night will come later than normal. This is done by setting the clocks ahead or behind the normal time

  1. Read the following article and write a paragraph (3-8 sentences) on whether or not you think that Daylight Saving should continue in New Zealand.

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/107348361/times-up-should-we-end-daylight-saving-in-new-zealand

I think that daylight saving shouldn't continue this is partly because I don't want to have to get up more early then normal or if its more then normal I don't know if I should still go to school at the time or the time it normally is.

  1. Do all the states in Australia have Daylight Saving? Who does and who doesn’t?

New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory and Norfolk Island have daylight savings

The ones that don't is Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Christmas Island or the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

  1. Write 3 tips to help others adjust to Daylight Saving this weekend.

Go to bed early. Exercises. Drink sleepy drinks before bed.

Thank you for reading my blog and what are your tips for sleeping on daylight savings.
